Chia N Mustafa

Chia Nawshirwan Mustafa (Kurdish: Chiya Newshirwan Mistefa) is the son of prominent Kurdish leader Nawshirwan Mustafa and one of the founding members of the Wusha Corporation, and the Gorran (Change) movement in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Whilst still a sophomore at Harvard College Chia began working on the foundations of the Wusha corporation, a media corporation which in turn would become the impetus for the Gorran (Change) movement in Iraqi Kurdistan. After graduating in 2009 Chia returned to iraqi Kurdistan to take part in the July 25th elections where Gorran took 1/4 of the parliamentary seats. August 2009 - (through March 7, 2010 the Iraqi parliamentary elections) - present, Chia has been acting special envoy to the Chairman representing the head of the Gorran movement Nawshirwan Mustafa throughout Kurdistan and Iraq. June/July 2010 Chia worked on building the constitution of the Gorran movement.
