Born August 28, 1971, Chi-Chi Okonjo is an alumnus of University of Maryland, College Park ('93) and the McDonough School of Business (MSB), Georgetown University ('96). He is also the CEO and Managing Director of Georgetown Capital Partners (GC) (www.georgecap.com). Chi-Chi serves on several boards and is a founder of WIYAS, What is Your Africa Strategy Annual Summit. Chi-Chi is also the founder and only male trustee of WIMBIZ (Women in Management and Business) (www.wimbiz.org) where he serves with thirteen distinguished and leading women in Nigeria. He is also a director of Makeda, a $75 million private equity fund geared towards women and SMMEs. He also serves on the boards of Kiddiemania, Quantum Oil and Gas, Brown and Ivory Group and ISKILL, a human capital development firm. Chi-Chi also serves on the technical committee of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), a policy think-tank that liaises with the Federal Government on economic development issues. ChiChi is also a member of the Gauteng Economic Development Association (GEDA) in South Africa. Chi-Chi Okonjo is from Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria where his father Professor Chukuka Okonjo is the Obi, or King, from the Umu Obi Obahai Royal Family of Ogwashi-Ukwu. Chi-Chi's elder sister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is currently a Managing Director at the World Bank.
