Charlie Donovan (December 12, 1996 - November 5, 2015) was a Major League Baseball Draft choice, selected in the 30th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He played baseball at Westmont High School in Illinois and graduated in 2015. In his senior year of high school he was the 2015 Illinois Baseball Gatorade Player of the Year. Donovan was a three-time Player of the Year by Voyager Media. Donovan committed to play baseball at the University of Michigan. Donovan was the No. 1 ranked baseball player in Illinois his senior season, 2015. Drafted in the 30th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2015. Donovan, 18, was the son of James and Karen (nee Rafa) Donovan. He was named to the MaxPreps 2015 Small School All-American baseball team among many other honors in 2015. |
