Charles Bornstein

Charles Bornstein is an American film editor best known for his work in the horror genre and on numerous television films and programs. Career Bornstein began his careers as one of several editors on director Nicholas Ray's experimental film We Can't Go Home Again. In 1978, he along with production designer Tommy Lee Wallace edited iconic slasher film . Two years later, Wallace and Bornstein returned to edit Carpenter's follow-up film, The Fog. Bornstein went on to edit several episodes of the popular television series Hill Street Blues, as well as horror sequels such as Howling II: Your Sister Is a Werewolf, Return of the Living Dead Part II, and Critters 2: The Main Course. Bornstein has since been a highly prolific editor of scripted television programs and original films, including Law & Order, Conviction, and The Haves and the Have Nots. |
