Chandra Minor

Dr. Chandra Minor is a Hazelhurst, Mississippi native and the first African-American woman in Mississippi to serve as certified orthodontist. Education Dr. Minor graduated as valedictorian of her high school class at Hazelhurst High School in 2004. After high school, she enrolled at Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi where she received her bachelor's in biology. She continued her education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she graduated in 2012 with a doctorate of dental medicine in 2012. She soon after enrolled at Howard University College of Dentistry where she received a certificate in orthodontics after completing a orthodontist residency program in 2014. Practice Dr. Minor opened up her own practice in Pearl, Mississippi in 2014. |
