CHAMELEOINIZE ---- "to change into various colors" is an alternative hard rock band from Toronto Current Line-up: Darrell Shelley - Vocals/Guitar Priscille Neyrand - Bass Jordan A Kolly - Guitar Privious members: 2005-06 Graeme Gerussi - Drums Edward Kennington - Bass 2006-07 Steve Colluci - Guitar Mike Colluci - Drums 2008 Patrick Ferrigan - Drums Established in 2005 the band has two EPs and one Canadian tour to date. They have shared the stage with Billy Talent Steve Hill My Darkest Days Psychotic 4 Maximum RnR Tin Bangs The Vulcan Dub Squad Trigger Effect They have been mentioned on the EDGE 102.1FM, CIUT 98.5FM, C101.5FM, Punk Cast Radio and IndieCan Radio Their second EP "meet Chameleonize" was mixed at Jeremy Darby's Canterbury sound by Sam Ibbet. The EP was marketed on their 2007 tour which included stops in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Charlottetown and Moncton. The tour highlights included The Toronto Freedom Festival (Queen's Park Toronto Ontario), The Atlantic Super Store Festival (Prince Edward Island - Headlined by Nickelback ) and The Four Days In July Festival (Nova Scotia). Rumor has it that their set at the Freedom Festival started 15 minutes after the Global Marijuana March started. This left the band with an audience that dwindled from 7,500 to 50 just minutes before their set. Despite the set back the band reportedly sold almost 50 CDs that day. A similar scenario took place at The Four Days in July Festival where the band was booked on a second stage at the same time as a local favorite on the Main Stage. The 2007 tour also included a broken van, two missed shows and the break up of that line-up. In 2008 Chameleonize re-united and added drummer Patrick Ferrigan to play the Bovine Sex Clubs "Fire Victims Benefit". The Benefit show lasted two nights and included acts such as Billy Talent, Creepshow, Black Lungs and Trigger Effect. The event also had an appearance by George Stroumboulopoulos . It was organized largely by Gregg Fallen, Darryl Fine and Darrell Shelley. The show brought in over $10,000 and all of the money was given to the 70plus victims who lost their homes in the Queen West fire. The band is currently self producing their first full length at "At it's Center Studios" in Toronto. The studio is owned by Matthew Drost who was trained by legendary producer Brendan O'Brien[http://en. .org/wiki/Brendan_O%27Brien_(music_producer)]. It will be mixed by Chris Sampson and Matthew Drost and engineered by Andy MaAvoy and Sandy Long. The album is said to include appearances from Dean Sacratini of Psychotic 4 and Daniel Mansilla of I Mother Earth. The Album is set for release in 2010 through HEX entertainment.
