Chamanlal Vrajlal Kamani is a business magnate and the patriarch of the Kamani family of Kenya, with interests in hotels, flower farms, infrastructure, telecommunications, project financing, real estate, cotton, as well as Diani Reef Beach Resort in Mombasa and Radisson Whitesands Resort in Goa, India. He is also involved with Unicorn Holdings Pvt Ltd, a company listed on the SEBI website as having offered to buy out Rajath Finance. The listing declares C V Kamani's net worth (as declared under this offer) to Indian Rupees 588.51 Lakhs, (US$1.3 million). The Kamani Family has investments in India, including a chain of 10 luxury business hotels, and in Dubai, primarily in Business Towers. Infotalent Systems Private Ltd. was one of their companies in the application to privatise Rajath Finance in 2003. Infotalent was mentioned in John Githongo's dossier on Corruption in Kenya (page 11) as a recipient of Euro 59.7M contract for police security on 19 November 2003.
