Chadwick "Chad" Vogel was born February 25, 1972. Born and raised in Bettendorf, Iowa, he excelled in the performing arts and began singing professionally at the age of 8. Now residing in New York City, makes his career as a professional performer of stage and screen. Vogel made history in his senior year at Bettendorf High School. He was selected as the 1st and only person to be chosen for the Iowa All-State Chorus four years in a row. That year, being the only tenor in the entire state to be a chosen as a four year All- Stater, A feat still unmatched today. Vogel was a member of Moline Boys Choir from 1980 to 1987 where he was a featured soloist, and then performed professionally throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding area. Vogel’s credits range from opera to musical theater; from a command performance for the King and Queen of Malaysia, to opening for the band Smash Mouth at Radio City Music Hall. Vogel has performed on stage with such notables as Tony and Emmy Award winner, Kristin Chenoweth and Academy Award winner, Patricia Neal. Noted for his 5 octave range, he has had the opportunity to sing and perform a variety of different roles. Some of Vogel’s favorite credits include: Sweeney Todd, 1776, Cabaret, Big River, Charlie Brown, and the international tours of Peter Pan, My Fair Lady, and Annie Get Your Gun, to name a few. Vogel will appear in the forthcoming movie, “Every Day” with Helen Hunt and Liev Schreiber. Vogel is also an award winning gymnast, holding the title of All-Around State Gymnastics Champion of Iowa.
