Chad Hastings is a sportscaster in Austin, TX and has become the first Austinite to start a sports talk show on Blog Talk Radio. The Chad Hastings Show On November 13, 2007, Chad started through Blog Talk Radio. The show discusses local and national sports mixed with Chad's sense of humor including Stupid News and the Stripper DJ voice of which he has become known. It also includes clips from the Scottish Guy, a Scottish man who goes into wonderful tirades about the team opposing the Longhorns. Work with KVET Chad hosted The Afternoon Show on KVET, 1300 AM in Austin, TX until he was laid off on October 26, 2007. He was with the company for 8 years, 5 of which were with The Afternoon Show with Brian Jones and Kevin Dunn. He also co-hosted a show with Craig Way for a short time before he was laid off due to budget restraints. |
