Chad Anderson

Chad Anderson (born June 16, 1982 in Chisago City, Minnesota) is a American-born professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Hamilton Bulldogs in the American Hockey League, the top minor league affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. Anderson entered the professional ranks an undrafted free agent after a seven year amateur career. He played two games for the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL at the end of the 2006-07 season. In 2008 he signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Phantoms in the AHL. From there, he landed in Hamilton playing with the Bulldogs. He recently signed a contract to lace up for the Bulldogs again for the 2009-10 season. Anderson is known more as a defensive-minded defenseman than for his offensive capabilities. However, he did line up on occasion as a winger during the 2008-09 campaign. He has yet to play in a NHL regular season game.
