Ces Ciuhrii

Ceslav "Ces" Ciuhrii (born 1973) is a sports administrator who has been the head of the National Tennis Federation of Moldova since 2018.
Early life and education
Ciuhrii was born in 1973 in Moldova to Mircea Ciuhrii, an academic who is known for making medicines from the tissues of insects.
Ciuhrii holds a doctorate in biological sciences.
Career
Ciuhrii started his career in 1998 with his father, Mircea Ciuhrii, an academic who is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences.
In May 2018, he became the president of the National Tennis Federation of Moldova, succeeding Marina Tauber.
In February 2022, he started developing a neighborhood, Satul German, in Chisinau.
In July 2022, he acquired Noroc Media which owns Radio Noroc and Noroc TV.
As a businessperson, Ciuhrii is the founder of Biotechnos, a biotechnology company active in Moldova, and Newtone Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company which is active in Romania and Moldova. Formerly, he owned two restaurants, Cactus and Mi Piace, based in Chisnau.
As a sportsperson, he has played tennis for Moldova for over twenty years.<ref name="protv"/>
