The Centre for Anglo-German Cultural Relations (CAGCR) is a research centre at Queen Mary, University of London. It was established in 2005 in order to promote the study of cultural transfers and interrelations between the UK and the German speaking world including Austria and the German speaking parts of Switzerland. The CAGCR covers four areas of research: Literature; Language and Linguistics; Intellectual History; and Cultural Transfers. It also offers a master's degree in Anglo-German Cultural Relations. The Centre hosts writers whose work is representative of critically acclaimed contemporary literature in German. Authors reside at the College for ten weeks. Research by the Centre is mostly published in the Angermion yearbook and the Jahrbuch für Internationale Germanistik.
