Central Radio International

Central Radio International broadcast from the early 1980s in the Liverpool area of the UK, mostly on the Medium wave but since the early 1990s it has mostly broadcast on FM.
The station was in its heyday in the mid-1980s when it broadcast on 1404 kHz AM and has received reception reports from Albania, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
Central has more recently concentrated on occasional broadcasts featuring many of the presenters previously associated with the station. Central Radio also broadcasts on the Internet as well as on 100.8 FM locally. Medium wave test transmissions have also been tried recently.
