Central Boiler

Central Boiler, Inc. is an American manufacturer of outdoor wood, wood pellet, and corn-burning furnaces for residential and commercial applications.
Established in 1984 by Dennis Brazier and located in Greenbush, Minnesota, the privately owned company has promoted its product line as an environmentally friendly renewable energy alternative to traditional oil- and gas-based furnaces. In 2007, Central Boiler signed a partnership agreement with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote the manufacture and sale of clean-burning outdoor wood furnaces. Central Boiler was the first company whose products qualified for the EPA Outdoor Wood-fired Hydronic Heaters (OWHH) program. Central Boiler also signed a partnership agreement with the EPA for Phase 2.
Central Boiler's Classic outdoor wood furnace was the first in the industry to be UL and CSA certified. The Central Boiler E-Classic 2300 was the first to be certified by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation Air Pollution Control Division and meets the 2010 Clean Air Regulation Emission Limits for Vermont and Maine.
In 2015, Central Boiler introduced their cleaner-burning, EPA certified, Classic Edge outdoor wood furnaces. The Classic Edge 750 was the first to receive a letter of certification from the EPA once the EPA's new source performance standards went into effect.
