Central Asia Health Review
|
The Central Asia Health Review (CAHR) is a New York-based independent online magazine covering public health and human rights issues in Central Asia. The Central Asia Health Review was established in December 2007. The Central Asia Health Review aims to generate greater awareness of health and human rights issues in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and regional areas including Russia, Iran, and Pakistan. Although these issues are of important to global peace and security, few people in the Central Asian region or abroad have access to information on health and human rights in Central Asia. This magazine aims to provide coverage of health and human rights issues in the Central Asian region, by providing readers with balanced, accurate, and professional reporting in English with special reports in Russian, Persian, and regional languages. The Central Asia Health Review's articles and special reports are contributed by its journalists and by local Central Asian academics, researches and journalists.
