Cenk Aydin (born 1974) is a Turkish British banker. He was named Young Global Leader in 2010 by the World Economic Forum for his contributions to the state of the world. Aydin since 2010 serves on the Forum of Young Global Leaders. He is currently Founder and Managing Partner of Halikarnas Financial Services and Advisory (HFSA). Aydin is active on the President's Advisory Board of the EastWest Institute, an international think-tank which works primarily on international security and conflict prevention issues. Aydin worked as the founding President of the New York Chapter of Medical Missions for Children. Career Aydin started his career in 1999 at Citigroup in New York as a Global Management Associate, a Management training program of the corporate and investment bank. In 2005 Aydin moved to the United Kingdom where he later assumed citizenship. He served Bank of America as the Chief Operating Officer within the global corporate and investment bank responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa operations of the transaction banking division. In 2009 Aydin joined JPMorgan as Head of Corporate Segment responsible for formulating the strategy for the Global Treasury Services and related Corporate Banking expansion plans. In 2013, Aydin joined Ali Buyuksoy and Pamir Sezener to jointly form Halikarnas Financial Services and Advisory. Social Entrepreneurship Cenk Aydin has been serving on numerous organizations either as an individual or corporate member. He has actively participated at Council on Foreign Relations, CFR, President's Circle, Chatham House, Medical Missions for Children, Carpathian Foundation. These active involvements for the social good led Aydin to the nomination as Young Global Leader in 2010. He is reported to hold leadership lectures at various Universities across the World. Cenk Aydin has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of International Cooperation Platform (Bosphorus Summit)under the Patronage of H.E Abdullah Gul, the President of Turkish Republic.
