Catholic East Elementary is a grade school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was built in 1956. The school holds kids in grades ranging form K4 to 8th grade. The school is well known for school alumni, John McGivern, a comedian. the school's name was originally St. Peter and Paul's grade school, then changing to the Catholic East Chargers, before finally settling on the name the Catholic East Elementary Eagles. The school has a girls Volleyball and Basketball team and also a boys Basketball team. The school also has an annual Geography Bee since 2002. 2002-2003 winner, Ashely Miller 8th grade, 2003-2004 winner Claire Marshall 7th grade, 2004-2005 winner Corey Marshall 8th grade, 2005-2006 winner Allie Piatt 8th grade, 2006-2007 winner Patrick Marshall 7th grade, 2007-2008 winner John Parlier 7th grade, 2008-2009 winner Christian Machi-Lunsford 7th grade.
