Catherine Balavage

Catherine Balavage (born August 12, 1984) is a British actor, comedian and writer.
She was born in Scotland and raised in Roxburghshire. She lived in Glasgow for a few years, joined The Scottish Youth Theatre when she was 16 and then went on to parts in Scottish television show River City, The Puritan and many commercials. After moving to London she won the role of the second Mrs De Winter in a remake of Rebecca as well as playing the part of a Death Eater in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Other parts include a Placebo music video for What It's Worth , a "3" commercial , a Norwich Union commercial, the Gurinder Chadra film What a Wonderful Afterlife and the BBC series That Mitchell and Webb Look.
The is also a comedian and performed with her comedy group "The Dogs Devils" at the Camden Fringe.
Balavage also writes scripts, reviews, comedy sketches and articles for a variety of publications.
