Caroline Seagull Caroline Seagull (trading name of Cobholm Hire Services .LTD) is a defunct bus and coach operator, from Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, UK. The company entered voluntary liquidation in 2008 following among other things, the introduction of free bus travel for the over 65s that would allow passengers to travel across the entire country for free. Operations Caroline Seagull was mainly recognised for operating school and college contract services. Caroline Seagull attained most of their revenue from this. To get the most contracts Seagull bid low and to do this ran a fleet of aged vehicles comprised of many variants of coaches from several manufactures. Cessation of Trading In mid to early 2008 Caroline Seagull ceased all trading and entered voluntary liquidation. All school contracts were canceled and handed to other operators.
