Carolina Trujillo

Carolina Trujillo Píriz (born 27 March 1970, in Montevideo) is a writer and screenwriter from Uruguay- Netherlands. She came to the Netherlands at the age of six with her mother and sister, as a political refugee from dictatorship. Was received in the Amsterdam Film Academy, a screenwriter in 1996. In February 2010, Carolina was awarded the prize for young writers BNG Flemish language (15,000 euros, a statuette and perpetual honor).
