Carmen Harra

Carmen Harra is an psychologist, author, intuitive counselor, and musician.
Life & career
Carmen Harra was born in a northern region of Romania known as Transylvania. At five years old, she nearly drowned in a river near her home before being rescued by her father. While being resuscitated, Harra recalls travelling through a tunnel of white light, and emerging into a picturesque world of beautiful landscapes, familiar faces that had passed on, and serene music before she was reeled back to earthly reality. As a result of this experience, Harra state to her parents, "I'm going to go far, I'm going to sing and one day leave this country." Mistaking her intuitive gift for childish imagination, her parents would laugh off her predictions. It wasn't until the age of 9, when Harra accurately predicted that will become president, that her parents began to believe in her abilities.
As early as 11 years, Harra began entering and winning singing competitions. She quickly rose to fame, appearing first on Romanian national television and then touring all throughout Europe, and released twelve albums which hits. All the while, Harra remained fascinated with her ability to see the the future. She was also interested in the possibility of communicating with those who have passed on. She began educating herself on these ancient teachings and paranormal topics and exercising more and more her ability to break linear time. Harra also graduated Babes-Bolyai with a degree in philosophy and one in philology. While attending her father's funeral, Harra has stated she received a message from her father's spirit, who assured her that she would indeed leave Romania permanently and that she would meet her future husband immediately after arriving in the new country. The man's name, continued Harra's father, was printed on the tombstone behind his own. She peeked behind her father's grave, and saw the name Virgil imprinted into the stone. Harra was first visited the United States on a singing contract. One of the destinations outlined in her contract included a restaurant where she was to perform. As soon as Harra entered the restaurant, the owner walked up to her and introduced himself as Virgil.
Life in the United States
Harra began contemplating what career to pursue in America. Although never intending initially to work in the fields of psychology or intuitive counseling, Harra could not help but tell people what she saw in their futures and offer guidance. She decided to offer sessions as an intuitive counselor. She also expanded her metaphysical skills by attending Albert University and earning a Ph.D. in Hypnosis and Alternative Healing.
Harra has hosted her own radio shows on Sirius Satellite, HealthyLife Network, and Contact Talk Radio. Dr. Harra has also been featured on Barbara Walters' radio show.
Additionally, she is a wife and mother of three grown daughters and has two dogs and three cats. She divides her time between New York and Florida.
