Carl Forssell (graphic designer)

Carl Otto Forssell Méndez (Mexico City, 1983) is a Swedish-Mexican graphic designer, creative director and entrepreneur.  Recognized by the graphic image of brands such as Moshi Moshi, Correos de México, Volaris and the identity of the Mexican Government itself, his works were awarded with several prizes from the design world.
Biography
Forssell spent much of his childhood in Stockholm, where his father came from.. His family in Sweden has several prominent people: his great uncle was the writer and academic Lars Forssell; his grandfather was the architect Otto Carl Abraham Forssell and his great uncle was the fencer and Olympic medalist Carl Otto Forssell. During his youth his family settled in Cuernavaca. He studied graphic design at La Salle University and from the first semester worked and studied together.
While still a student, he created the logo for the airline Volaris in the firm Ideograma Consultores, a logo that has been maintained since 2006 and was a premonitory advance due to its pixelation.
He has been the graphic designer and creative director of the graphic identity of the Government of Mexico and its historical legacy. Also the creator of the new image of Correos de México that, after its upgrading and autonomy in 1986 when the Mexican Postal Service was created, required a new graphic identity going from being a national institution to a friendly and efficient service.
