CarDekho also won 'Most Popular Automotive Website' in 2011 and 'Best Automotive Website' in 2009.

On 30th September, 2014, CarDekho acquired Ibibo owned Gaadi.com (which is an online automotive marketplace that brings together car buyers and car sellers and is the best resource for new car research in India, providing users with information, opinions & tools to ease the process of finding a suitable car) for reportedly 11 million US dollars. The acquisition establishes CarDekho.com as the undisputed leader of the Indian automotive portals. With the combined volumes of CarDekho.com and Gaadi.com exceeding 15 million monthly visitors, this transaction positions GirnarSoft as the #1 player in auto search and lead generation business in India.
