Captain Sunscreen is an extremely little-known comic book superhero that is very popular with certain circles (one circle actually... A group known as "the crew" originating in Hilo, HI). When Captain Sunscreen is not fighting crime in his signature suit of yellow and green, he can often be found in Jaidrizzle's Ice Cream Parlor disguised as Larry, his unassuming, "Fearless Hawaiian" clad civilian alias. Captain Sunscreen first appeared as the title character in Captain Sunscreen and Aloe Lad Issue #1. Together, Captain Sunscreen and his vertically challenged side kick, Aloe Lad, fight to keep a mysterious and powerful artifact, the JD bottle, from falling into the wrong hands. They are assisted in their efforts by colorful cast of characters: The Wonderbra, a super sexy super-heroin with super unique powers; Andy, the under-appreciated stoner who will eventually save all their asses; Smurphy a quirky ice cream shop patron; and Jaidrizzle, the ice cream shop owner who's partying ways land her in whole lot of trouble. In the way of villains the comic introduces The Bruiser, maniacal super-villan fueled by his mysterious X pills, and The Sunburner, the hooded and cloaked master thief/assassin. Captain Sunscreen was written, inked, and colored by Jaidree Braddix and Produced by IJI Comics Group. It is unknown at this point if the series will continue.
