History Co-founded in the spring 1992 by Harry Glanz and Dan Burke, Capital grew into one of the largest independent mortgage banking Firms in Michigan. In 2007, Capital Mortgage Funding was named the 7th largest mortgage lender in the Metro Detroit area by Crain's Detroit Business, moving up from its 2006 ranking of 8th. The Detroit Free Press named Capital Mortgage Funding Michigan's Best Workplace in 2008 for companies with 51-250 employees. The hosts a consumer advocacy radio show on a local radio station on 97.1 FM The Ticket WXYT-FM in Metro Detroit every Saturday morning dispensing valuable information to the community at large.
