Cantaloupe Aqua

Cantaloupe Aqua is a hotel located in Talpe, Unawatuna in the coastal town in Galle district of Sri Lanka. It is a hotel that is managed by Cantaloupe Hotels, who also manages Cantaloupe Levels in Rumassala, Galle. The hotel is located 130 km from the country’s commercial capital, Colombo.
History
Cantaloupe Aqua was launched in late 2010 with an initial investment of US$400,000 initiating Cantaloupe Hotels as the parent company of the hotel chain. The property underwent renovations in 2015 and was re-opened in June the same year.
The hotel played host to Michelin starred, Chef Richard Toix in December 2015 in a series of dinner and brunch events to promote fusion cuisine. London-based Fashion Photographer, Creative Director and Instagram blogger, Alice Luker stayed at Cantaloupe Aqua during her documented series of travels to Sri Lanka’s south coast.
