Caleb Postlewait

Caleb Postlewait (born August 22, 1993) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender for National Premier Soccer League club Grand Rapids FC. He previously appeared at the professional level for Pittsburgh Riverhounds and at the semi-professional level for Michigan Bucks.
College and amateur
Postlewait played four years of college soccer at Butler University between 2012 and 2015. While at college, Postlewait played with Premier Development League side Michigan Bucks, making nine appearances in 2014 and four appearances in 2015.
Club career
Pittsburgh Riverhounds
After featuring for the club during preseason, Postlewait signed with United Soccer League club Pittsburgh Riverhounds on March 4, 2016. He debuted for the Hounds on April 17, coming off the bench to replace Zak Boggs in a 2-2 draw with Toronto FC II. Postlewait made just one more appearance for the club, entering as a substitute in a U.S. Open Cup defeat against Lansdowne Bhoys on May 19, and was released by the Riverhounds near the end of May.
Return to Michigan
Following his release from Pittsburgh, Postlewait returned to the Premier Development League and rejoined Michigan Bucks. He made his second debut for the club on June 18, 2016, playing 29 minutes in a 3-2 defeat against Derby City Rovers. Postlewait made three appearances in his second stint with the Bucks, bringing his total with the club to 16 appearances across three seasons.
Grand Rapids FC
Postlewait returned to his hometown of Grand Rapids for the 2017 NPSL season, joining Grand Rapids FC of the National Premier Soccer League. He made his club debut on May 12 in the first round of the 2017 U.S. Open Cup, although GRFC fell 1-0 to Chicago FC United. Postlewait tallied his first goal for the club on June 30, coming in a 6-1 victory away to F.C. Indiana. He finished the season with the one goal from 14 total appearances, wore the captain's armband three times, and was named as the club's defender of the year.
On January 4, 2018, Grand Rapids announced that Postlewait had re-signed for a second season with the club. He opened the 2018 season on a tear, scoring in a 4-0 victory against FC Indiana on May 18. Although Postlewait played infrequently through the middle of the season, he scored in GRFC's regular season finale against Detroit City and converted in the penalty shootout in a playoff defeat against Duluth FC. He appeared in seven matches on the season, scoring two goals.
Following the 2018 season, Postlewait was announced as the head soccer coach at his alma mater, Forest Hills Central High School, and re-signed for a third season with Grand Rapids.
