CADD Centre Training Services Private Limited, (NSCM/2010/14/2352) is a global training provider in the CAD/CAM/CAE spectrum. It was constituted in 1988 as the first Authorized training Centre by Autodesk in India.
It is headquartered in Chennai, India and has trained over 8 million students. It works in collaboration with CAD developers such as Autodesk, Parametric Technology Corporation, DASSAULT, Bentley and Solidworks.
Franchise India has awarded CADD Centre “Business Leadership Award”, in the education category for the year 2012.
History
CADD Centre was established by Mr. C. R. Vaithweeswaran and Mr. V Sathyamoorthy in December 1987. The company began conducting training in Computer Aided Design and Drafting courses in March, 1988. The first software tool to be used was AutoCAD. It was recognized as an Authorized Training Centre by Autodesk.
In 1989, CADD Centre expanded to Bangalore and organized training for Public Sector units such as BHEL, BEML, BEL, HMT and HAL. CADD Centre was opened in New Delhi in 1990.
CADD Centre, from the year 2001 is a multiproduct training centre, introducing courses in PC Schematic - electrical CAD software and Pro/Engineer - 3D design software from PTC. It was also offering courses in Project Management.
In 2007, a subdivision Dreamzone was launched, to promote creative studies. CADD Centre also started offering courses in software like Solidworks and Primavera. The number of centre’s had reached 300 by 2010, further software such as Unigraphics NX, Pspice, OrCAD, and Revit Architecture.

CADD Centre Training Services provides training in software programs enabling Computer Aided Design and Drafting. CADD Centre Training Services is the training arm of the CADD Centre group.
CADD Centre covers different fields that are dependent on Computer Aided Design and Drafting. The courses are focused on addressing the skill gap and to provide employable engineers.
Courses offered by CADD Centre follow the coaching model; the focus of the courses thus remains on acquiring skills. The courses are broadly classified as foundation program, diploma program, professional program and master’s diploma program. The courses are differentiated according to the different specialized field of engineering; courses are categorized under the fields of Mechanical CADD, Electrical CADD, Electronic CADD, Architectural Design, Building Design, Structural Design, Land Survey and Transportation Design and Project Planning and Management.
Activities
CADD Centre carries out regular activities such as CADD Quest - an online exam used to provide meritorious students with scholarships for the courses available at CADD Centre. Apart from CADD Quest, it also conducts activities such as Cool Summer offer, and D2D.
Business Model
Since 1995, CADD Centre has utilized the franchising model for its expansion. The franchise model allowed the rapid expansion of CADD Centre geographically. It expanded to Coimbatore, a city in Southern India.
The franchise model is built around an annual fee model instead of a royalty model.

Dreamzone
Dreamzone was founded as a creative wing of CADD Centre. It was established to offer courses in software related to fields such interior design, graphics design and fashion design. This division of CADD Centre was set up in the year 2007. Dreamzone provides training in software related to these domains under the School of Interior Design, the School of Animation and the School of Fashion Design.
Livewire
Livewire was established as specialized division to provide training in the areas of electronics, instrumentation, electrical, IT. This broad classification is addressed by providing training in software required for electronic design automation, systems administration and network engineering.
Synergy
Synergy School of Business Skills addresses the management needs of structural and non structural organizations. The training offered at Synergy School of Business Skills covers project management, operational excellence and people skills. It was founded in the year 2011.
Skillease
Skillease acts as the placement wing of CADD Centre. Skillease provides flexi staffing solutions for different industries.
CCube
CCube is a division of CADD Centre that provides certification in fields of CAD/CAM/CAE and Project Management. The accreditation program is offered in software tools related to mechanical, electrical, electronic, civil, architectural and project management industries.
Operations
CADD Centre following its expansion model is present in over 13 countries across the world. The first overseas operations took place in 1999. Since then it has operated out of countries such as Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Dubai, Malaysia, Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
