Cactus cotton

Cactus cotton is a very versatile type of cotton that grows on the seed buds of barrel cacti. It is much easier to pick than regular cotton, which has seeds in it. It only grows on mature seed buds of barrel cacti.
Versatility of cactus cotton
Cactus cotton is much like actuall wool or cotton, it is a yellow-looking soft puff. It cannot be used in heavy-duty materials, but it can be used in pillows and some light jackets
Cactus cotton harvesting
Cactus cotton is relatively easy to harvest, it appears when you pull the mature, easy to pull out seed buds from the main body of the plant, most of the cotton is found at the bottom of the seed pack. In one harvest, one barrel cactus can only produce 1 ounce (30 g) of cotton, but a large scale harvest can produce plenty of the light-weight cotton.
