Daniel Rosenfeld (also known under the alias C418) is a music composer, mostly known for the Minecraft soundtrack. Rosenfeld currently lives in Saxony, Germany and works as a full time musician after quitting his job in December 2010 as a builder and tester for dialysis machines. Minecraft C418 is known for his work on the popular indie game Minecraft as the music and sounds producer. He produces all of the various sound effects for the game, such as footsteps, and released the game's official soundtrack, "Minecraft - Volume Alpha", which includes all the music present in the game made by him up to the soundtrack's release, plus some bonus tracks.
