C Earth is a dynamic augmented reality platform developed by C Studio, a part of the Thurber company. Augmented reality is an emerging field, and its complexity is often seen as a barrier to mass adoption. C Earth is intended to allow easier adoption of AR.
Visual Targetting Technology
C Earth's software allows users to post images, video, 3D-objects into their claimed AR space while also being able to share location based social networks, check ins and feeds.
It allows the user to target a location through the AR device viewfinder and selecting. This selected location is then translated to geographical coordinates and compass directions. Allowing anybody to embrace the AR technology easily, to be able to not only view AR layers of information, but to also contribute to the AR repository without technical knowledge or knowledge of geographical coordinates, compass directions and altitudes.
