Burnout 6: (working title) also known as Burnout: Next (unofficial title) is the upcoming installment to the Burnout franchise. It was announced in an EA Presentation Discussing the future of EA's big game franchise's, one of them being Burnout. A spokesperson stated that they expected it to be released in EA's fiscal 2009 .EA has also said that Burnout 6 is, still just a project and could easily be released but may not be a direct sequel like Burnout Dominator or may be released different kinds of consoles like the Nintendo DS or Wii.
