Buddha Trixie

Buddha Trixie is a garage indie band based in San Diego, California. The band consists of Daniel Cole (vocals, drums), Dennis Moon (bass), Andrew Harris (lead guitar), and Kenzo Mann (synth, vocals, backup guitar). The three original members, Cole, Moon, and Harris, came together at Westview High School in the San Diego area through a "brotherly love for all music". Gaining traction from the teenage concert junkie crowd, Buddha Trixie began playing small shows throughout San Diego county, appearing on bills with other local bands such as The Frights, Fake Tides, Groms, and more. Frequenting venues such as the Tin Roof, SOMA, and Queen Bee's, Buddha Trixie tends to play the majority of their shows during the summer and winter seasons due to distance conflicts. All four members are enrolled in four year universities. Moon and Mann both attend the University of California at Davis, while Cole attends Chapman University and Harris attends Santa Clara University. Buddha Trixie recently released their first EP, titled "Real". The EP consists of four songs, "Be There", "Worship Me", "Real", and a rerecording of a previously released hit "99 Cent Tacos". The EP is available for streaming on Soundcloud. The group also runs a Bandcamp where both music and merchandise can be purchased, a Twitter, a Facebook, and an Instagram.
