Bryan Salvatore Blake (born July 30, 1982) is a British commercial airline pilot and kite surfer and up and coming MMA competition fighter. He is currently working for International Aero. He is known for being the only person to win Men's Health UK front cover competition consectively in 2000 and 2001. Blake has also been involved in several films as an extra, having been on such films as 300 and Football Factory. Blake has appeared on several British and Italian advertisements, having been approached after his initial appearance on Men's Health in 2000. Linked with several celebrities, including Lauren Pope, Audrina Patridge and Laura Esposto. Early life Bryan was born Bryan William Salvatore Blake, after his father's brother. Born in Bari, Italy, as the oldest of 3 children. Blake was raised in a Roman Catholic working class family having moved back to the UK when he was 4 years old. Bryan was credited for his involvement within sports and represented Durham and England within athletics, while also playing semi professional rugby for Darlington Mowden Park R.F.C. as a winger. In 1998 Blake joined the Royal Marines establishing a quick promoting to Lance Corporal in 2000, In 2002 he attended Leeds University to study economics after canceling an opportunity to train as a physiotherapist. In 2003 he was offered and accepted a sponsorship with Barclays Bank PLC and continued his studies at Newcastle University, while working within the corporate division. In 2009 Blake resigned from the banking industry to progress his childhood dream of becoming a commercial pilot. Studying at St George Flight School in Teesside and Leeds Multi Flight, Blake set out to gain his commercial licence, already attaining his Private Pilot License in 2004. Activities Blake is a keen sports player and has been involved in several sports. Currently Blake is a Welterweight MMA fighter having a fight record of 2 wins, KO, Submittion, trained by Mark Kidd. Blake also plays rugby for Darlington Rugby Club (2008-2010) acting as a winger and inside/outside centre. In 2004 Blake broke several bones within both feet during a Northern League game which resulted in Blake retiring from rugby until 2008. In 2007 Blake entered the English Kite Surfing championships with the winner and runner up been entered into the European championships. Having successfully competed Blake came 27th. Though in 2008 Blake competed in the European Opens and took 4th place, and sealing a sponsorship with Flexfoil.
