Brushguard is a fictional character in the Transformers universes. Transformers: Cybertron Brushguard is a repaint of the Autobot Overhaul by Hasbro and does not appear in Galaxy Force or the animated series. One of many scientists working for Megatron, Brushguard has dedicated his life to xenobotany - the study of alien plant life. A firm believer in Decepticon supremacy, he hopes to find unique toxins in Earth plants for use against the Autobots and their human allies. Though he dislikes violence, he has been retrofitted to fire short-range bursts of superheated acid from his chest. Fun Publications In the Fun Publications story Force of Habit Brushguard lead a small team of Decepticons to the planet Combatron looking the Cyber Planet Keys. Among his troops were Buzzsaw, Hardtop, Runamuck and Swindle. On the planet they discovered a long lost weapons cache and attempt to bring it back to Megatron but they are opposed by Autobots lead by Longrack. Runamuck, Skywarp, Brushguard, and Buzzsaw appeared among Cannonball's troops in the Fun Publications exclusive story The Dark Heart of Sandokan by Benson Yee. Toys *Cybertron Scout Brushguard :Brushguard is a redeco of Cybertron Overhaul. :Cybertron Overhaul is depicted as 14.6 feet (175 inches) tall, while his toy stands 4 inches tall for a scale of 1/44. This also works for Cybertron Brushguard and movie Warpath. :In 2007 this toy was repackaged as a Universe figure and sold in discount stores like Family Dollar.
