Bruce Rumbolz

Bruce Rumbolz (Born June 22, 1973 in Sterling, IL) began boxing at the age of 8 under the local trainer Al Silva and was a 1983 Silver Glove, but then stepped away from boxing a year later and didn't return for another 10 years. At the age of 19, Bruce had the desire to get back in the ring and rediscovered his old trainer Al Silva. With only a few amateur fights as a Golden Glove, he turned pro in 1994 at the age of 20. Under trainer Al Silva, Rumbolz compiled a professional 15-0-1 record with 11 KO's. But after a few setbacks; which included regional, inter-continental, and world title fights, Rumbolz walked away from Silva looking for a new beginning. Instead of a successful rebirth, he fell into the journeyman role of taking fights all around the world and coming up short most of the time.
Aside from boxing, Rumbolz has a career in Radiologic Science.
