Bruce Maiman, aka Dr. Maimes, is a radio personality who has appeared on KDON in Monterey, California, WKSE in Buffalo, WKRQ in Cincinnati, Ohio and on KCCL in Sacramento. He was also a long time producer for Scott Shannon and Ross Brittain on the legendary New York City station Z100. Maiman later worked as a talk radio host at KFBK in Sacramento. His show on WKSE aka Kiss 98.5, was the first-ever radio program to feature High-Pitched Eric (1993-1994), who would later appear on The Howard Stern Show and his program at KDON, Dr. Maimes & MG Mark Garcia, in Salinas, CA was the first-ever radio program to feature UFO Phil (1996-1999). He continues to write for the Ross Brittain Report, a widely distributed radio prep service, and has been writing op-ed columns for the Sacramento Bee since 2009. On January 20, 2009, Maiman was released from KFBK due to layoffs conducted by parent company Clear Channel Communications. |
