Brook Valley Country Club

Brook Valley Country Club is a golf club in Greenville, North Carolina, founded in 1966. McConnell Golf, LCC acquired the club in 2015. The club consists of an 18-hole course designed by Ellis Maples.
History
The club was founded in 1966 in Greenville, North Carolina. In 1760 the land was part of a royal grant given to King Charles, who later sold the land to the Brooks family.
The course has been played by Sam Snead and Ben Hogan. Reynold’s May, one of the club’s original investors, established the Reynold’s May tournament which attracted many top golf professionals, such as Curtis Strange and Webb Simpson.
In 2015 McConnell Golf, LLC acquired Brook Valley Country Club and commissioned Kris Spence renovated the course and practical facility.
Golf
The club features a 18 hole golf course designed by Ellis Maple, a student of Donald Ross, covering 6,831 yards. The club also offers clinics, camps, and the chance to participate in the Men’s or Ladies Golf Association.
Amenities
Brook Valley Country Club offers aquatics, tennis, dining, kid’s zone, and serves as an event venue. The club offers an outdoor pool equipped with waterslide, a baby pool, swim lessons, and swim team. Tennis at Brook Valley Country Club offers two tennis courses as one of eight McConnell Golf tennis programs. The dining room was renovated in 2015 and offers a view of the lake and the tenth and eighteenth hole. Brook Valley Country Club offers a wedding venue with a view of the lake, pool, and golf course. The Azalea Ballroom accommodates up to 180, The Dogwood Ballroom accommodates 60, Full Space accommodates 300, The Outdoor Space accommodates 150, and The Pool accommodates 10 - 100. The board room has 12 seats, central power outlets, two televisions, wireless or cable internet, a projector and screen, while offering a catered lunch option. The Kid’s Zone at Brook Valley Country Club offers a kid’s room with kid programs such as arts and crafts.
