Broadleaf Commerce

Broadleaf Commerce is an open-source Java EE eCommerce platform that launched on September 29, 2009. It is an open-source, enterprise-ready eCommerce framework based on the Spring Framework. Broadleaf Commerce was originally developed as a joint effort between The Container Store and Credera, a Dallas, TX-based business and technology consulting company.

History
On November 3, 2009, The Container Store launches its new eCommerce website, powered by Broadleaf Commerce.
On July 1, 2011, Waste Management, Inc selects Broadleaf Commerce as its eCommerce platform
On February 7, 2012, Pep Boys launches TreadSmart with Broadleaf Commerce.
On June 12, 2012, Llustre Design Ltd. announces that it launched its new eCommerce site for flash sales.
On August 3, 2012, Broadleaf Commerce releases version 2.0.
On August 14, 2012 Ganz launches its new eCommerce site with Broadleaf Commerce.
