Brickell Bay Office Tower

Brickell Bay Office Tower, also known as the AON Building. Brickell Bay Office Tower is a corporate center, located in Miami, Florida situated in the prestigious Brickell financial district, noted for domestic and international banking as well as legal and accounting offices. This tower was designed by The Luckman Partnership, Inc. in 1985 and stands approximately 280 feet (85 m) directly overlooking Biscayne Bay. The construction of Brickell Bay Office Tower started in 1983 and was completed in 1985. Brickell Bay Office Tower is a 32-story building consisting of 280,500 square feet of office space. The eight grades of the garage is designed in such a way that gives the building the multi-tier shape that wraps around the lower half of the tower. In 2000 Brickell Bay Office Tower received Building of the Year Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association for its notably exquisite exterior, as well as the interior construction. The tower atrium, lobby and garage have all been fully renovated.
The Exterior of the Building
The front exterior features polished marble floor to ceiling and towering columns in the forefront of the building’s entrance. The entrance sprawls out with an enticing golden marble with a black detailed marble trimmings water feature in the center of the entrance. The exterior lobby has a lush atrium on each side containing green tropical foliage encased with the polished golden marble. The marble is extended to the rear of the building, where it ends with a fully unobstructed view of Biscayne Bay.
The Interior of the Building
The interior features floor to ceiling polished marble throughout the lobby floor, reflecting the ceiling with an Italian medallion design made of cork mimicking the surrounding marble that fancies the entire first floor. The first floor of the building is reserved for retail and financial institute. There is a retail space with an outside area with the view of Biscayne Bay. Centering the building are 2 sets of elevator shafts, featuring a total of ten passenger cars, including 1 service elevator, 2 parking garage elevators and 7 passenger cars. The interior of the elevators are mirrored and marble flooring.
