Brian E. Kinsella

Brian Edward Kinsella is an American veteran advocate and financial analyst. He co-founded Stop Soldier Suicide in 2010 after completing military service in the U.S. Army. He serves as the chief executive officer for Stop Soldier Suicide and also works full-time in financial services.
Early life and education
Kinsella grew up in New Jersey. He attended Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated in 2005 as a distinguished military graduate. He pursued a master's in business administration in 2010 from the University of Louisville.
Career
Military
Kinsella was commissioned as a US Army second lieutenant in 2006 and served as an officer in Germany, Italy, and Fort Knox. He was deployed as a Captain and Detachment Commander in Baghdad, Iraq, for fifteen months during the surge in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After that, he was Aide-de-Camp to the commanding officer of the 3d Expeditionary Sustainment Command (XVIII Airborne Corps) in Operation Unified Response, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He left the army in 2010.
Awards and recognition
Kinsella received the Meritorious Public Service Medal Meritorious Public Service Medal from Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, Mark A. Milley, on April 25, 2019 for outstanding service to the nation's veterans, soldiers, and their families.
