Brian Dunhill is an American businessman, author and philanthropist most notably known for his work in financial services for American expats. Early life Dunhill was born in Brussels, Belgium where he lived until he was 11. He then moved to the United States where he completed his education including his Bachelors at the University of Central Florida and his MBA at the University of San Francisco. Career Dunhill started his career at AG Edwards and later joined Lehman Brothers and UBS. In 2011 he moved back to Belgium to start Dunhill Financial, an expat financial planning firm. The firm was one of only a few firms in Europe that can assist American expats throughout Europe. Dunhill was a speaker at many events throughout Europe including for AmCham Belgium, the American Club of Brussels, Americans in the Netherlands, Americans in Spain, the American Club of London, Adrian Leeds Group and FEIFA. Dunhill Financial merged with Cross Border Planning in 2016 to make the biggest American Expat Financial Planning firm in Belgium. Dunhill remained as managing director of the new firm. Through his work as a financial advisor, he was inspired to develop the concept of offering financial services to the masses at a low cost through a robo-advisor called Omniwealth.eu. Dunhill established currency centric portfolios that could be offered at a low cost and with low minimums so that all investors could start saving despite their nationality. The platform has been described as the fastest growing niche robo-advisor. In 2016, Dunhill became an advisor to the Grand Prix Investor Fund in California. A unique mutual fund of company stocks that sponsor, supply, and support the FIA Formula One World Championship. He also started to author a weekly blog chronicling how he was learning about auto racing and how he helped John Foti, the fund manager pick stocks for the fund. Authorship & Lecture Series Dunhill has written many articles in regards to how to manage your finances as an American Expat. He was the author of the American Expat Guide in conjunction with Carl Mir, Adrian Leeds, and Jim McEvoy. He also writes a weekly blog chronicling how he was learning about auto racing and how he selects stocks. the American Club of Brussels, Americans in the Netherlands, Americans in Spain, the American Club of London, Adrian Leeds Group and FEIFA. Dunhill has also conducted guest lectures at Vesalius University in Brussels, Belgium. Philanthropy Dunhill is currently President of the American Club of Brussels which is celebrating its 95th anniversary., a Board Member of the Augusta Chiwy Foundation, the Sharkey Foundation and the Brussels Tigers (the local American Football team). Dunhill has raised money for the Marine Life Center of Juno Beach, Fulbright, Community Health Services, the Augusta Chiwy Foundation personally and through Dunhill Financial. He has also helped raise money for commemoration memorials for fallen soldiers.
