Film content
The documentary film takes an intimate look into the real life paranormal encounters experienced by Dave McRae and his College friends, during their many visits to an abandoned farmhouse house on Port Robinson Road in November 2000. The film follows McRae and Dale, as they struggle to bring Dave's vision to the big screen. Through a series of interviews with former group members who experienced the house, old deteriorating HI8 video footage, stunning photographs with orbs, white mist and apparitions, as well as voices from the other side through EVP, Bruce and Dave set out to create awareness for the story with this documentary.
McRae has written a feature length screenplay entitled, Port Robinson Road, in which he plans on turning into a full length narrative film. The movie would be based on the actual events that are talked about through out the documentary. Although the screenplay to Port Robinson Road carries a thrilling tone through out the piece, McRae insists the story is not one of horror, but one of realization and hope that there is more to death than we know.
Breathing Port Robinson also presents interviews with James Randi, Tom and Lisa Butler of the American Association of EVP as well as Dr. Lisa Miller from Psychic Kids Children of the Paranormal on the A&E Network <ref name="portrobinsonroad.com" />
