Brandon Triche

Brandon Triche (born February, 1991) is a 6'4", 198 lbs. guard who plays for the . He is the nephew of former Howard Triche.
High school
Triche was named the New York Class A Player of the Year and 2009 Gatorade New York Boys Basketball Player of the Year in his senior year of high school at Jamesville-DeWitt. His averages of 22.3 points, 6.7 assists and 6.2 rebounds in the 2008-09 season led Jamesville-DeWitt to a second consecutive Class A state championship. The Rams were 27-2 overall.
Triche Tore his ACL in his sophomore year only 11 games into the season. He was forced to sit out the rest of the season, returning at the beginning of his junior year. Triche averaged 9ppg and a junior and was still Syracuse's number one prospect. During the time of Triche's injury he kept in touch with coach Boeheim and was helped through the injury and assured he had a spot on the roster in the future.
College
Triche had offers from Connecticut, Georgetown and Georgia Tech before deciding on Syracuse.
2009-10
He is already becoming an NBA bound player. he probably might be just as good as kobe or even better. Triche won the starting point guard job out of training camp, replacing departed guard Jonny Flynn in the Syracuse lineup. Triche scored a career high 27 points on 6-for-6 shooting from 3-point land as Syracuse knocked off Oakland 92-60 on December 22, 2009. On January 16, 2010 Triche led the Orange with 16 points and five assists as then-No. 5 Syracuse won at then-No. 9 West Virginia 72-71.
Triche finished the season with averages of 8.1 points and 2.8 assists, and was named to the Freshman All-America Team.
