Brandon Tatum is an American Political Operative, Professional Speaker, and former Police Officer with the Tucson Police Department in Arizona. Tatum, a former Democrat who supported Barack Obama in the 2012 United States elections, switched towards the Republican Party after becoming disenchanted with the Presidency of Barack Obama and Democratic Party in general. He has since 2016 been an active Trump supporter and has joined Turning Point USA as the organization's Director of Urban Engagement. He in recent times has expressed interest in running for the Arizona Senate Seat in 2020 United States Senate special election in Arizona and has joined Candace Owens in her Blexit movement which seeks to encourage African Americans to leave the Democratic Party of the United States. He is an emerging and vocal leader in a movement often referred to as Black conservatism in the United States.
