Brandon Barr is the author of several short stories that generally fall under the category of speculative fiction. Mikel's Hope is his one exception, which appeared in the magazine, Haruah. His speculative short fiction has appeared in Nova Science Fiction, Revelation Magazine, and Gateway SF.
A novel, titled When the Sky Fell, co-written with author Mike Lynch is forthcoming February 2008 from Silver Leaf Books.
