Brain Drill are a technical death metal band from California, founded in 2005 by guitarist Dylan Ruskin as a Burn at the Stake side-project. Ruskin soon left Burn at the Stake, Brain Drill becoming his main band. History In the year after their formation, Ruskin would recruit Marco Pitruzzella on Drums, Steve Rathjen and Jeff Hughell join soon after. On march 1st 2006, they would enter the studio and record The Parasites EP. The EP quickly became noticed and is listed on Myspace as the number 8 in the top 10 myspace grindcore band charts in the world and has also come in at number 11 in the top 20 myspace death metal charts in the world . Among those to notice the EP were Metal Blade Records and quickly signed Brain Drill. They are currently in the studio.
