Bradley Thomas Coffman

Bradley Thomas Coffman is widely credited as the inventor of the reversible fleece jacket, having created the first prototype in 1974, while working for the now defunct Livingston Clothing Company of Manhattan, New York. While several other inventors and corporations boasted similar offerings in the same general timeframe, Bradley Coffman's designs are the first to be documented with the U.S. Patent Office. To this day, Coffman's unique clothing design has proliferated into entire lines of casual and outdoor wear, as made popular especially by popular clothing outlets such as Old Navy and Banana Republic.
