Braden Jones (born April 20, 1983) is an American football tight end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Southern Illinois University. He was raised in Harrisburg, Illinois. He attended high school in Harrisburg also. He was a 3 sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, and track. He holds numerous track records at Harrisburg High school.His standout sport was always football. He led his high school team their first 3A state championship in over 15 years in 2000, under Coach Al Way. Braden is also not the only Harrisburg athlete to go pro in the past decade. Patrick Keating was drafted by the Kansas City Royals, after attending the University of Florida.
