Brad Prefontaine

Brad Prefontaine (born July 27, 1972) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently an assistant coach with the Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
Playing career
Prefontaine began his playing career in the ECHL with the 1995-96 Birmingham Bulls. He next joined the Columbus Cottonmouths, then of the Central Hockey League, for their inaugural 1996-97 season, and remained with the team to help them win the 1997-98 CHL play-offs and the William “Bill” Levins Memorial Cup.
Senior career
Prefontaine retired from professional hockey in 1999, but continued to play senior hockey to skate in the 2004, 2005, and 2007 Allan Cups. He also played for at the 2005 Nagano Cup. .
Coaching career
From 2001-2006 Prefontaine held the dual post of General Manager and Head Coach for the Wetaskiwin Icemen of the Capital Junior Hockey League. In 2011 he joined the Columbus Cottonmouths as an assistant coach.
